William Wilson was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Wilson of Beauchief Hall. He married Marjorie Elsie Milner Milner, the daughter of William Aldam and Sarah Elizabeth Milner (nee Roberts) of Totley Hall, at Dore Christ Church on Thurday 1 July 1909.
