Ramblers' Handbooks

Sheffield Clarion Ramblers were founded in 1900 by G. H. B. "Bert" Ward. Their yearly handbooks contain many references to Totley, of course, since many of their routes start from or pass through the village and its hinterland. The booklets sometimes contain short articles on the ownership and history of the land, footpaths and buildings and we hope, in the course of time, to transcribe some of the more relevent entries for our website.
